Jim Harbaugh has just finished his sixth season as Michigan’s head coach.
A former Alabama support person will join Jim Harbaugh’s staff in Michigan.
George Helow, who worked for the Crimson Tide in 2012, is being appointed as the coach of the Wolverines, a source confirmed to AL.com.
ESPN reported the news for the first time.
Helow, who was also a support staff member at Georgia, spent the past season as a coach and coordinator for special teams in Maryland. He was previously the safety coach in the state of Colorado.
