Michelle branch opens after having a miscarriage, thanks husband, Patrick Carney, for support

The singer “Everywhere” thanks her husband, Patrick Carney, drummer of Black Keys, as well as her sister for their support during the difficult time.

‘But alas, between crying and eating Christmas cookies, I decide to put on lipstick and a dress. We drank champagne all day. “Made an amazing meal and sang Christmas carols that were melted down by a roaring fire,” Branch wrote. “Five more days until 2021. I miss the finish line.”

Her emotional message includes a slideshow of family photos, including one of her sociability to Carney, and another of her toddler son and teenage daughter.

“These people, my precious family, my husband, sister and children were the MVPs,” she continued. “I could not imagine spending a year apart with someone else. Merry Christmas, everyone.”

Branch and Carney went out and fell in love in 2015 while working on her 2017 album, Hopeless Romantic, which he produced. The couple got married in New Orleans last year. The famous couple share a 2-year-old son, Rhys James.

Branch is also the mother of her 15-year-old daughter, Owen, who she shares with ex-husband Teddy Landau. They were divorced in 2015.
