Michael Strahan may have joked about ‘repairing’ his iconic gaping tooth, but now many people who want the right procedure are flocking to Strahan’s dock.
Dr. Lee Gause, Tells Strahan’s dentist, TMZ … he was inundated with calls from people across the country who did not care if it was an April Fool’s joke … they feel that Dr. Gause made Michael look better, and they lacked piece of that action. In all, more than 100 people called with dental challenges.
He says some prospective patients have already booked their flights to have the procedure done at his Smile Design Manhattan clinic in NYC.
The cost is not cheap – between $ 5k and $ 50k … depending on how bad the chompers are. It is possible that people temporarily want something like Mike … the wax used to compose the joke – a Prenew Preview – costs a very reasonable $ 350.
Dr. Gause now says that Strahan is a true patient of his, but if he were to ask to fill the void permanently, he would not do so because it is his distinctive brand. Hmm … we’ll take him at his word.
