With Matt Haack set to become a free agent, the Miami Dolphins need a new player and it looks like they have found their man as Tom Pelissero announced on Twitter this morning:
The # Dolphins sign former #Panthers punter Michael Palardy under a one-year deal per source.
It’s a homecoming for Palardy, the former leading Fort Lauderdale preparation. He is completely healthy and was one of the NFL’s most productive players during his three seasons in Carolina.

Michael Palardy comes home to South Florida where he plays high school football in St. Louis. Thomas Aquinas. He jumped around a few teams before finding a home with the Carolina Panthers in 2016. Palardy has not played at all this past season because he tore his ACL during the off-season.
With the signing of Palardy, Matt Haack’s term with the Dolphins should end. He had his good games, but then there were times that he was just a little too inconsistent. Since Brian Flores took over, the Dolphins’ special team unit has been a pleasure to watch with all the deceptive activities. Who Can Forget Haack throws Jason Sanders back in 2019 from the Mountaineer Shot play, which ended up being the NFL play of the year.
