A 56-year-old Florida doctor has died two weeks after receiving the first dose of coronavirus vaccine manufactured by Pfizer-BioNTech. The cause of his death is definitely a rare blood disorder.
Dr. Gregory Michael, an obstetrician-gynecologist, lost his life 16 days after receiving the first dose of Pfizer-BioNtech coronavirus vaccine, the first approved in the United States.

After his death, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Florida Department of Health and the Miami-Dade Medical Investigator’s Office launched an investigation.
“The cause of death depends on the completion of the studies conducted by the medical examiner and the Center for Disease Control,” said Darren Caprara, director of the office. “The case is still under investigation, so nothing has been settled.”
Although a direct link with the vaccine has not yet been established, it is also not completely ruled out by local health authorities. Michael’s condition is related to a rare condition that affects the body’s ability to clot blood.

Pfizer also launched an independent investigation into the matter, acknowledging that the doctor’s death was caused by an “extremely unusual clinical case of severe thrombocytopenia”, and also indicated that their researchers so far believe that there is a lot less likely that is any direct connection with the vaccine. ‘
