(CNN) – The Miami Beach City Council announced the state of emergency and the death of Alcalde Dan Gelber during a press conference this Saturday.
At 8:00 pm a token will be set up for the city’s entertainment district and some will be closed, Gelber said.

Gelber also said that the media will be vigilant for the next 72 hours.
“We do not want to hope that something more terrible has happened,” said the alkalde. “We must do something now to avoid being sued”.
The city will host a special emergency emergency meeting on Sunday, Gelber said.
