Mercedes GLE loses bouncy castle in US

The GLE SUV abandoned one of its most unique options simply because no one bought it, and that’s a shame. This morning, MotorTrend announced the news to the automotive world that no Mercedes GLE will come forward with the excellent E-ABC (E-Active Body Control) with which the SUV can bounce with its hydraulic suspension.

The E-ABC system is much more than a simple party trick and works to keep equipped vehicles flat during the turns and the weight distribution of passengers and cargo to lower the vehicle. One of the unique benefits of this system is the Free Driving Assist mode, which allows your Mercedes-Benz SUV to jump out of the snow or sand. If you get stuck in one of these difficult situations, the reflection can deeply affect the traction to help you get stuck.

To activate the Free Drive Assist mode, you must be stationary or at very low speeds for safety reasons. However, Mercedes-Benz does not limit where you can use this feature, which enables you to present impressive exhibits in parking lots. Mercedes-Benz seems to be leaning towards using their E-ABC Free Drive Assist mode for entertainment, as they have even made a music video to use it as a back-up dancer.

Mercedes-Benz told MotorTrend that E-ABC was cut off from the GLE SUV due to a low fare. This system is still offered on the larger GLS-580 as an option and standard on the GLS 600 Maybach. So, if you are looking for a dancing sports utility vehicle, you just need to spend a little more money, and Mercedes-Benz will be happy to sell you one.

The unique E-ABC suspension system is also offered on top specifications of Mercedes-Benz sedan, although the bouncing Free Driving Assist mode is not offered. This is simply because Mercedes-Benz has developed the reflective suspension for off-road driving and does not show off. So it sounds like we’re an easy way to bounce S-Classes.
