Memphis police search for woman after Burger King was shot dead

MEMPHIS, Tennessee. A drive-through order at a fast-food restaurant in Tennessee took a huge turn on Tuesday.

A customer who was angry about how long her order took at Burger King decided to shoot up the restaurant, and it was all captured on camera.

“Crime is going bad everywhere now,” said Eddie House, a customer at Burger King.

House is disappointed that a woman is accused of shooting up her local Burger King, but he is not surprised.

“More security, more police in the area will probably help,” he said.

Memphis police are now searching for the woman.

It all started when she got angry about how long she had been waiting in the driveway for her food, police said.

According to officials, she got out of her car, walked to the door window and started arguing with an employee before starting to shoot.

“I hate they were impatient,” says client Dewayne Wilson. “Kids work there. So you know it’s the thing. ‘

The surveillance video shows employees running, as well as a peek at the shooter’s car.

No one was injured, WHBQ reported.

“It’s a little messy, I’m glad everyone’s fine,” Wilson added.

Memphis police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect. Anyone who recognizes the shooter or her car is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 901-528 cash.
