HOLLYWOOD, Fla. The Memorial Healthcare system announced on Wednesday that it has received its first batch of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and is currently planning appointments for medical professionals and those aged 65 or over.
The Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine is also still offered by the healthcare system while stocks last.
The vaccinations are only available by appointment.
There are two options for registering for appointments: visit https://mychart.mhs.net. In your graph, a section titled ‘Appointments’ is programmed to make an appointment. Choose a date, time and place that suits you.
Those who meet the requirements to make an appointment can also call the Centralized Schedule of the Health System by calling 954-276-4340 Monday-Friday from 08:00 to 17:00. The call center is closed on weekends. Note that callers may experience longer than normal waiting times.
Below are the vaccination sites and hours currently open for appointments:
- Memorial Specialty Pharmacy, 9581 Premier Parkway, Miramar.
- Hours: Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Closed on Sundays.
- Memorial Regional Hospital Conference Center, 3501 Johnson Street, Hollywood.
- Hours: Monday, noon to 7:30 p.m .; Tuesday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Closed on weekends.
What can you expect at the vaccination sites?
- Vaccinations are provided by appointment only, while stocks last.
- Bring along a state-issued license or photo ID to sign in to the site. Healthcare workers must provide proof of license.
- To maintain social distance, companions without appointments are asked to stay outside.
- Wear a shirt or top with the upper arm accessible.
- Children may not be allowed on the premises. There is no childcare on site.
