According to CNN, the former first lady, Melania Trump, has been ‘bitter and cold’ towards her husband since they left Washington DC.
She is disappointed with how she left the White House, the media reported.
At the time of his departure, the former first lady was extremely unpopular.
According to a poll conducted by SSRS for CNN, she had the worst favorite ratings for any modern first lady during her departure from the White House.
Trump is upset about her reputation through former President Donald Trump’s relentless campaign to denounce the election and the resulting deadly uprising, two people familiar with her thinking told CNN.

Following the January 6 attack on the Capitol, Trump was apparently uncertain about how to respond to the event.
She was trapped between a rock and a hard place, and had to decide between condemning the violence and remaining silent, the media reported.

“She could see what it was going to be like for her,” a former White House official told CNN. “Once the uprising took place, she knew there was nothing she could do by speaking out or doing something – so she did nothing.”
Five days after the siege of the Capitol, Melania Trump finally issued a statement expressing sympathy with the injured or dead.
This followed the resignation of her key assistants.
Trump’s bitterness also extends to first lady Jill Biden, reports Kate Bennett of CNN.

Trump has not spoken to the first lady since leaving the White House. This is the historical tradition of former first ladies reaching their successors.
Trump and her husband are currently spending their time in Mar-a-Lago, the former president’s Florida resort.
While her husband is allegedly watching his second indictment unfold, the former first lady is reportedly being visited in the spa.
“She’s going to the spa, eating lunch, going to the spa again and eating with Donald on the patio,” someone familiar with her schedule told CNN.
Trump is also working to continue her ‘Be Best’ initiative.
