13:46 PT – A source near Megyn tells us when she looks at the meme, she does not realize that the queen is holding a gun and just thinks it is a reflection on the window pane. She picked it up after only a few minutes.
Megyn Kelly is apparently amused by the image of Queen Elizabeth pack heat to put the beef with Meghan Markle … at least based on Megyn’s Twitter account.
As you can see, the meme – which Megyn tweeted – shows the queen holding a pistol with a silencer, with the caption: “If you spend £ 32 million on your grandchildren’s wedding and his wife starts for you on Oprah bitch.”
Her review of the looming meme was … “So good.” She, or someone from her team, has since deleted the tweet – but she has already announced her position Harry and Meghan’s interview.
Kelly played and criticized QB on Monday morning Oprah for the fact that the couple is no longer specific about the racist allegations – and made it clear that she did not buy Meghan’s claim that she knew nothing about the royal family before contacting Harry.
We reach out to Megyn’s camp over the tweet … so far, no word back.
