The Duchess of Sussex stunned in a blue dress and matching pendant for a quick video chat on Thursday’s episode of “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”
Meghan Markle appears briefly during James Corden’s segment with Prince Harry after the TV presenter insisted that they call the Duchess outside the house “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”. Corden took Harry home as part of a tour of Los Angeles and even instructed the royal to report the words of the 90-year-old sitcom’s theme song while they were there.
“Give me my phone. How do I find the Duchess?” Asked Corden Harry before calling Markle.
“I think this is where you should live,” Corden told the Duchess as she answered the phone. “You would be the fresh princess of Bel-Air.”
Markle appears on screen in a $ 30 puff sleeve dress from Velvet Torch. The Los Angeles boutique has confirmed that the Duchess wore her smocked dress in an Instagram post shared on Friday.
“So it happened today !!” wrote the trademark on Instagram.
At the time of writing, the Velvet Torch inflatable dress was sold out in blue on Nordstrom Rack and the brand’s website. But a representative of Velvet Torch told Insider that he accepts pre-orders and that the dress will be shipped no later than March 15th. A similar style in black from the same brand is also available at Nordstrom Rack in sizes extra small to extra large.
Markle completed her look with a matching blue necklace and natural makeup.
Markle had a short cameo during Corden’s interview with Harry.

The Duchess also revealed her nickname to Harry during the video call.
“Haz, how’s your tour of LA?” Markle asked Harry.
“Haz? I did not know we were calling you ‘Haz’ now,” Corden said.
“You’re not my wife, so -” Harry replied before calling the TV host “the worst tour guide in LA”.
Corden joked that he was Harry’s only tour guide – the royal said earlier in the interview that this was his first time touring – and therefore the best.
During the interview, Harry also talked about his relationship with Markle, moving away from the royal life, Archie’s Christmas present from the Queen and his thoughts on Netflix’s “The Crown”, among others.
