Meghan Markle wears Oscar de la Renta dress for Spotify event

In her first appearance since announcing that she was expecting her second child with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle set the standard for her maternity style.

The Duchess of Sussex, 39, donned a sleek lemon-print Oscar-la-Renta dress ($ 3,490) to gather Prince Harry, 36, for Spotify’s Stream On event and her hair in long, loose waves behave.

The Sussexes recently signed a multimillion-dollar deal with the platform, and they will present and produce their own podcasts under the Archewell Audio banner.

“We use podcasting to have powerful conversations,” Markle said during her virtual appearance. “We created Archewell Audio to make sure we can elevate voices that may not be heard and hear people’s stories.”

The first podcast episode of The Sussexes appeared in late December and features audiobooks from star-studded names like Sir Elton John, Stacey Abrams and Tyler Perry, along with a cameo from their son Archie, which turns 2 in May.

While pregnant with Archie in 2018 and 2019, the Duchess made headlines with her expensive maternity wardrobe, which also included a gorgeous look from Oscar de la Renta.

The difference? While Prince Charles pays for the clothes for Markle’s first pregnancy, this time she buys her own outfits, as she and Prince Harry are no longer working members of the royal family.

Markle announced that she was expecting in a Carolina Herrera dress that was tailor-made for her during her first pregnancy.
