The Sussexes used a photo of their 2018 tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand for the map.
When it comes to choosing a photo for their official correspondence, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have a difficult job as every photo of the couple is so beautiful. But they absolutely nailed it for their thank you cards in 2020 and chose a photo taken during the 2018 Sussexes tour in Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand. The photo, similar to the photo above, shows Meghan protecting her husband with an umbrella from the rain while giving a speech in Dubbo, Australia.
Royal correspondence collector @gertsreplies shared a photo of the Sussexes’ thank you card on Instagram, revealing the message inside their accompanying blog. “Thank you for your thoughtful message. We appreciate your kind words and the time you took to write to us during this special occasion,” the message reads. “We wish you the best. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”
The beautiful photo on the map was taken on October 17, 2018 amid a downpour in Dubbo, New South Wales. HuffPost reportedly, Meghan shielded Harry with an umbrella while delivering a speech on mental health and the importance of seeking help when he is struggling.
“You need to know that part of being strong and tough is having the courage to seek help when you need it,” the Duke of Sussex said. “Do not suffer in silence. You are all together in this.”
“And if I may speak in person, we are all together on this,” he added. “Asking for help was one of the best decisions I have ever made. You will constantly be amazed at how life changes for the better.”
