The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery rose to an estimated $ 401 million, with a cash option of $ 305.4 million.
The winning numbers were: 8, 24, 53, 68 and 69. The Mega Ball drawn was 7 with a megaplier of 5x.

The Mega Millions jackpot was last won on September 15 when a $ 120 million ticket was sold in Wisconsin. It’s been won twice in New Jersey this year – an anonymous winner claims the $ 202 million prize won on February 11 with a ticket sold in Edison, and a $ 123 million ticket bought in Bayonne for the draw on July 23rd.
No one across the country won Tuesday’s jackpot.
Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 1, 31, 35, 48 and 62. The Mega Ball draw was 19 with a megaplier of 3x.
Mega Millions tickets cost $ 2 each and in New Jersey must be purchased on the night of the drawing at 10:45 p.m. The chance that a ticket can hit the jackpot by matching five numbers and the Mega Ball is 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12 607 306 chance of winning the second prize of at least $ 1 million by five numbers fit.
Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington DC and the US Virgin Islands.
The New Jersey Lottery office in Lawrence is open to the public by appointment. You can still claim your profits – provided they are less than $ 599.50 – in person at any dealer.
The lottery also accepts claims by mail, although officials warn that payments may be temporarily delayed. Winners are advised to make copies of the claim form and the winning ticket for their records.
