The Lilly Foundation’s Medicine and Health Divulgation Award – The Conversation nace in 2021 with the aim of promoting and reconstructing health and medicine divisions in the Spanish language, focusing on the use of Spanish as a general language for transmission science of health in particular, as well as impulse the social divulgation of wealth.
To participate in the invocation of candidates (doctoral students and personal lecturer or minor researcher of 30 years attending universities or publicity centers – public or with public participation-) should present an original article on Spanish publicity, on a topic based on specialization, which will need to adjust to the formats and limits established on the bases, available on the Lilly Foundation website.
In addition, he must send a matriculation certificate as a doctoral student at the university center, or a PDI examination at the university center or examination, during the 2020-2021 course, together with the rest of the documentation required on the bases, by electronic mail.
The placement for the mailing of the candidacy will begin on March 1 and will end on April 15, 2021 (both included).
The jury, appointed by the Lilly Foundation and The Conversation España, is composed of persons of reconciled prestige in the pursuit of health and medical education and research, in the division of knowledge and in periodism.
Of all the candidatures presented, the jury will select 10 finalists, among them will be premiered two of the recipient articles. As a result, a premium premium of 2,000 euros and a second premium of 1,000 euros will be considered. The ten pre-selected articles, including the winners, will be published in the Spanish edition of The Conversation, with a media of 200,000 daily diaries.
The fall of the jury will take place on June 25, 2021, coinciding with the third anniversary of the launch of The Conversation in Spain. Asimismo, this day will list the 10 selected works that will be published in The Conversation before 2021.
The Creation of the Prize for Divulgation on Medicine and Health of the Lilly Foundation – The Conversation, which has the character of continuity, is a reflection on the compromise of institutional bodies to open and disseminate the scientific knowledge developed in Spanish procedure, giving the public opinion of a mayor clarity and depth in the ambition of science, especially in health and medicine.
