The 2020-21 season was difficult for Duke, and it got even worse on Monday night. The Blue Devils are on their way to Miami and lost to the Hurricanes, 77-75.
What makes this loss especially bad is the fact that the Hurricanes were 7-9 overall and would be 2-9 in the ACC tonight. Duke’s defense allowed Miami to shoot 52.5% from the field and 53.8% from the three-point line. The Blue Devils were also sloppy with the ball in their hands as the dedicated 13 turnover on the night. It was a cruel loss for Duke, possibly ending up from the outside when March Madness begins.
During the game, the university basketball media tore the Blue Devils apart for another poor performance against an inferior opponent.
