The mainstream media went wild with allegations that pro-Trump extremists could cross the Capitol on Thursday, but the hysteria turned out to be nothing.
CNN has asked guests to call the threats “genuine” and “credible,” and the Washington Post publishes a piece, “Capitol Police, says intelligence shows a militia group is planning to violate the Capitol,” which outlines four contains separate reporters and contributions from six additional staff members.
The Post noted that this was “a date on which some supporters of QAnon extremist ideology falsely claim that it will mark the return of former President Donald Trump to the White House” before noting that Capitol police do not do not name a specific group that they are concerned about.

A pro-Trump mob stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 in a deadly disappointment that also disrupted the certification of President Biden’s election college victory. Since then, the building has been surrounded by fences and national guards in anticipation of other attacks.
The Post reports that ‘talks on the QAnon’ conspiracy theory ‘were circulated online’ around March 4 ‘and’ ‘an’ unidentified group ‘of militant violent extremists’ discussed ‘plans to seize US capital and remove Democratic lawmakers on that date’ . “
The House canceled Thursday’s session because of the threats and Senate staff were “encouraged to take precautions such as parking in underground garages,” the Post reported.
Other liberal newsletters have provided significant coverage on the threats that also never amount to anything.

CNN’s digital operation publishes a story with the headline, “Feds on high alert Thursday after warnings of possible threats to the U.S. Capitol,” noting that law enforcers were aware of the intelligence bulletin.
“The violent extremists also discussed plans to persuade thousands of people to travel to Washington, DC to take part in the March 4 plot,” CNN reported, citing the bulletin. “Some conspiracy theorists believe the former president will be inaugurated on March 4.”
The New York Times ran a similar story, “Capitol Police Warn of Threat on Thursday, and House Cancels the Day’s Session,” reporting that “another assault on the Capitol building may occur.” Newsweek published a story: “March 4 fears of Capitol Attack as Conspiracy Theorists Talk of Trump’s Return.”
ABC, NBC and CBS had similar stories.
CNN even aired a special on QAnon last week to notify viewers of the group with March 4 ahead, while CBS conducted an interview with the group’s infamous shaman. According to The Hill, Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, was sitting on the Capitol stairs as a sign of defiance against the alleged threat.
But the country’s capital remained peaceful on Thursday as QAnon never showed up.
The Washington Post on Thursday printed a story, with five outlines and two contributors, with the headline: “At the Capitol proves a threat on March 4 from militant Trump supporters.”
“We have not seen a single person today rioting the Capitol or otherwise in the United States,” Fox News presenter Tucker Carlson said Thursday in his program. “Are you shocked?” Do not be shocked. It was just another lie. It was not so different from when they told us we needed troops to protect Joe Biden’s inauguration. ‘
Meanwhile, Fox News learned Thursday that U.S. Capitol police would request that National Guard troops stay at the Capitol for another two months.

“Many liberals were sure that … March 4 was the day the right-wing revolution would finally begin. March 4, they believe, was something called ‘QAnon Inauguration Day,'” Carlson said.
“What’s QAnon Inauguration Day? We have no idea. We do not know anyone who knows. In fact, we bet money that not a single Trump voter in a million has ever heard it until this week when the hysteria traders “On the other hand, channels began to tweet about it. They heard about it from Nancy Pelosi, who told her bodyguards to compile a report on the threat of QAnon’s inauguration day, so that’s what they did.”
