McLennan County Health District Holds COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic

WACO, Texas (KWTX) – The Waco-McLennan County Public Health District is offering a free Phase 1A and Phase 1B vaccine clinic with 1,500 doses of the Modern COVID-19 vaccine.

The clinic is full from 14:00 on Sunday 11 January.

According to the Texas Department of State Health Services, the vaccines are not the State’s Vaccination Hub program.

The vaccination clinic is eligible for people in phase 1A and 1B.

The clinic opens Tuesday, Jan. 12 at the Waco Conference Center, 100 Washington Avenue, Waco, TX.

The vaccination clinic is free and will last until all 1500 doses of the Moderna vaccine have been given.

The online registration is open on Sunday, January 10 at https://app.blockitnow.com/consumer/waco-covid19.

Those who are unable to register online are asked to keep 255-750-1890 available for assistance on Sunday from 12:15 to 18:00 and will continue to work throughout the week for assistance with registration, questions and concerns.

The vaccination clinic is by appointment only and boarding will not be accepted.

As a reminder, Phase 1A includes health workers in the front line, and Phase 1B includes 65 and older or people 16 and older with a medical condition that increases the risk of serious COVID-19 diseases.

The health district said the clinic offering the Moderna vaccine is only available to 18-year-olds and older.
