The most striking item of the swag is probably a hoodie with a picture of McDonald’s new Crispy Chicken Sandwich with the slogan “crispyjuicytender.” The gift box also contains a vinyl recording of a song about music producer Tay Keith’s sandwich, and gift card recipients can use it to use the sandwich at restaurants one day before the official release.

McDonald’s new chicken sandwiches go on sale in the United States next Wednesday. It comes in three versions, including a crispy chicken sandwich topped with pickles and served on a potato roll, a spicy chicken sandwich that adds a spicy pepper sauce and a luxurious chicken sandwich that salads, contains tomatoes and mayonnaise.
The chain teased a new choice of sandwiches on Investor’s Day in November, with Joe Erlinger, president of McDonald’s, explaining that chicken is a good choice for the company.
“Globally, the chicken category is almost twice as big as beef,” he said at the time. “It’s growing faster and represents an important opportunity,” he said. “Developing a reputation for big chicken is one of our biggest aspirations. We want customers to choose McDonald’s for chicken.”
