McCarthy’s fiery speech came after Pelosi was re-elected by Democrats as speaker of the House, retaining the majority in the House with the smallest margin in 20 years.
When McCarthy did not name the Democrats by name, he called the lawmakers out of the House because they had failed in their responsibilities over the past two years “during a difficult time for our country.”
