Matthew Stafford rumors: Rams reported on his radar?

It increased rapidly.

The Los Angeles rams are certainly interested in replacing Jared Goff (quarterback) as ESPN reported Friday afternoon that they are trading the idea to trade for Matthew Stafford, the Detroit Lions fullback.

Apparently Stafford would like to play for the Rams. Who does not want to trade Detroit for LA?

It’s amazing that the Rams are already in talks to make an initial change in the quarter. That means they probably decided to move on from Goff. Remember that the new general manager of Detroit, Brad Holmes, is from the Rams, so the two sides have good communication.

Perhaps Goff, who did not want to bind the Rams, would be part of the trade with Detroit. The Lions will have to replace Stafford, who turns 33 this season, and Holmes knows Goff (26) well, although there is likely to be a salary cap.

Bend, because it may soon come to a point. Sports Illustrated thinks Stafford could be traded next week, though only officially in March.

The Rams do not have a first-choice pick this year due to the Jalen Ramsey deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars, so Goff may be part of the Stafford deal if finalized.

Whatever happens, this news means the Rams are serious about a quarterback change, and we need to keep our attention on this.
