Matt Hardy leads Private Party to Impact to become the best candidates

Kenny Omega is no longer the only AEW star to move to Impact. Add Matt Hardy and Private Party to the list.

It started with the announcement by Hardy and Private Party that they would be appearing tonight Impact Wrestling (January 19, 2021).

Their business revolved around the Impact World Tag Team Championship. Chris Sabin brought in James Storm to declare himself the # 1 candidate for the Good Brothers, and that’s when Hardy and Private Party showed up.

Hardy wanted to book Private Party in a warm-up contest so he could earn a payday of 260%. Hardy wanted to jump the line for a title shot against the Good Brothers. Instead, it led to a battle against Sabin & Storm in the main event to earn an opportunity for the team championship. It is interesting to note that Hardy did not allow Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy to speak.

Also noteworthy is that Tony Khan returned with another paid ad. He was with Jerry Lynn in the Impact Zone. Khan asked Hardy to go to Impact in response to Don Callis’ adults. He wanted Hardy to spoil the Impact.

Khan and Lynn actually show up to explore the main event.

In that match, Private Party was a win via Gin and Juice. Hardy gave a distraction from the referee so Lynn could grab Sabin’s foot to set up the finishing maneuver.

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows applauded the efforts of Private Party. The Good Brothers entered the ring for a staredown, and the show ended with a fight between all three teams.

There has been no announcement yet for an appointment over the big battle between Private Party and the Good Brothers for the Impact team gold.

As for Kenny Omega and Don Callis, they will take a break from Impact to take care of business in AEW.

The plan joins the upcoming PPV schedule of AEWs Revolution on February 27 and Impact’s Rebellion on April 24th.

What do you think of AEW’s next chapter with Impact? Do you like that Private Party gets the call to act Impact Wrestling?
