North Carolina has once again reached Old Dominion State to add its 2021 recruiting class. On Thursday, massive offensive lineout Trevyon Green orally connected to the tar heels. UNC’s class consists of three members and all three are Virginia.
In addition to UNC, Green, a 6-foot-7, 331-pounder from South Chesterfield (Va.) Life Christian Academy, has collected scholarships from Boston College, Liberty, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and William & Mary .
UNC originally hosted Green in July ’19 when the prospect attended the “Carolina Barbeque”. At the time, he was a 2021 recruiter. He finally decided to reclassify in the 2022 class. Green is back at Chapel Hill for UNC’s junior day on January 25th. Then, last summer, the Heels were offered again.
The decision to reclassify was largely due to Green’s physical improvement. He exceeded £ 400 earlier in his high school career, which deterred many staff. The reclassification bought time for him to descend. He eventually shed £ 70.

In addition to its mid-three-star rating, Green is the No. 1 according to the 247Sports Composite. 51 attack in the country and the prospect no. 16 in Virginia.
Green’s dedication moves the UNC class to three places and falls into the top 15 of the early 247Sport 2022 soccer team rankings.
Green joins a class that has already included Old Dominion State products Tychaun Chapman and Tayon Holloway.
North Carolina comes back from an 8-4 season and Orange Bowl berth in Mack Brown’s second season back in Chapel Hill. The tar heels have the land see no. 14 yard class in December, which included two offensive lineouts: Eli Sutton and Diego Pounds.
‘IThis is a huge boost for recruitment, “Mack Brown said at the end of the 2020 season. Kids want to play with programs that are on the rise. And this one is, and they know it and our guys have fun. Our guys brag to each other and they show class. I’m just so proud of them. This is what makes recruiting easy. Because people see a program they want to participate in. And they saw that we had adversity, just before the game in the kitchen. Our guys did not care. Our coaches do not care.
“So we’re looking at these numbers very closely, because now you have to recruit the guys who can beat the Notre Dame’s and recruit the guys who can beat the Texas A & Ms. So you’re probably going to turn down some guys you’re past. “year or the previous year because we are looking at a different set of goals. And it’s really important for us to move forward.”
