Marvel’s WandaVision ‘Assembled’ preview shows a blue vision scene

Assembled: The Making of WandaVision trailer gives MCU fans a look at Blue Vision and more footage and behind-the-scenes footage.

WandaVision may be over, but now Marvel fans can now watch the behind-the-scenes feature for the series, Assembled: The Making of WandaVision, with Marvel releasing a trailer with the Disney + documentary Paul Bettany as Vision displayed in blue makeup.

The trailer opens with a look at the series “Dinner with Vision’s boss” WandaVision‘s first installment, before retiring to introduce his home set and live studio audience. Director Matt Shakman then officially welcomes the audience in ‘the first live sitcom recording in the history of Marvel Studios’, with actor Paul Bettany jokingly admitting that he has not been ‘in front of a live audience since 1884’. ‘

From there, viewers are treated to various shots of Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Kathryn Hahn and others WandaVision stars performing their scenes from the perspective of the camera crew. Short interview segments reveal Olsen and Bettany’s thoughts on WandaVision‘s structure, with the first declaring that when she ‘heard the concept for the first time, she liked it’, and Bettany called it ‘such a tribute to American sitcoms during the 20th century’. The trailer also teases how WandaVision subtracted its special effects, ranging from intentional hokey Dick Van Dyke Show/Betower threads showcasing Wanda’s magical powers to VFX recordings of Vision fighting herself and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) wearing her space suit.

Almost all of WandaVision‘s episodes chronologically made the appearance, tone and cinematography of iconic sitcoms made between the 1950s and late 2000s, ranging from Bewitched to Family ties and Malcolm in the middle. Over time, however, this idealistic sitcom world is exposed as a by-product of the powers of Wanda who control the city of Westview, New Jersey, in a mysterious way so that she and Vision can have a happy ending and children at the expense of To capture Westview’s urbanites in supporting roles.
