Marvel’s Avengers, Borderlands 3 and The Long Dark join PlayStation this week

Sony has announced that Marvel’s Avengers, Borderlands 3 and The Long Dark will all arrive on PlayStation Now on April 6, 2021. Announced on PlayStation.Blog, these three games will be available tomorrow, and Marvel’s Avengers will remain on service until July 5, 2021, while Borderlands 3 will remain until September 29, 2021. No removal date has been given for The Long Dark.To celebrate the arrival of these games, Sony is offering a free seven-day trial for PS4 and PS5 owners starting on Wednesday, April 7, and it will be available to anyone not currently subscribed to PlayStation Now.

Although PS Now is available on PS5, the PlayStation service still only provides access to PS4, PS3 and PS2 games. This will make us believe that, despite Marvel’s Avengers and Borderlands 3 having PS5 versions, the versions coming to PS Now will only be the PS4 versions. IGN approached Sony for clarification.

PS Now has more than 800 PS4, PS3 and PS2 titles available to stream, and more than 300 PS4 games also available to download, in ‘up to 4K resolution when playing on PS4 Pro.’While fans who want to try Marvel’s Avengers will experience some of the updates in the game’s 2021 Content Roadmap, the game will likely leave service before the Wakanda Expansion War, which Black Panther will add to the game later in 2021. .
