Martin Scorsese rolls out Lily Gladstone as Leonardo DiCaprio’s wife in Apple Original Film Killers Of The Flower Moon
With the filming set to take place this spring, Martin Scorsese played the female lead for his long-awaited new film Killers of The Flower Moon.
The veteran director has urged actress Lily Gladstone (34) to play opposite Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio in the original Apple Original Film, reports Variety.
This is a major breakthrough for Gladstone, who is relatively unfamiliar with roles in only a handful of productions, including the independent drama Certain Women in 2016 and the Showtime series Billions in 2019.

Killers Of The Flower Moon was adapted from David Grann’s best-selling true crime book about the brutal murders of Osage Nation Indigenous Americans in 1920s Oklahoma.
The murders became known as the Reign Of Terror and became one of the first major cases investigated by the then newly formed FBI.
The killings began after oil was found on land belonging to the Osage Nation.
Based on a true story: Scorsese is the director of the drama about the brutal murders of Osage Nation Indigenous Americans in 1920s Oklahoma after oil was discovered in their tribal lands.

According to local Oklahoma local newspapers, filming will take place from spring to late summer in the Tulsa, Bartlesville and Osage County area.
A virtual cast for extras was announced last month.
The production is estimated to have an estimated budget of $ 200 million and will be Scorsese’s first film since the 2019 Netflix hit The Irishman.
