Mark Zuckerberg’s mobile number goes online after Facebook hack

According to a security expert, a large amount of hacked data from more than 500 million Facebook users was made accessible on Saturday – including Mark Zuckerberg’s cellphone number.

The information was initially stolen in January, after hackers exploited a vulnerability related to phone numbers associated with Facebook accounts, eventually creating a large database of private data.

On Saturday, according to Bloomberg, the database became easily accessible to those with basic data skills.

Facebook dismissed the data as ‘very old’, but security expert Dave Walker pointed out that the company’s own CEO had been threatened in the heel.

“Regarding the #FacebookLek, of the 533 million people in the leak – the irony is that Mark Zuckerberg is also regrettably included in the leak. If journalists struggle to get a statement from @facebook, maybe just call him from the count in the leak? ‘ did he tweet along with a screenshot of Zuckerberg’s name and information with the phone number partially black.
