Marjorie Taylor Greene sees 24% Republican approval

Greene has made allegations that deadly mass shootings have taken place across the country

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene gained a reputation for her loyalty to former president Donald Trump. Greene has consistently encouraged false pro-Trump conspiracy theories and recently she likes social media posts that are in line with extremist extremist ideologies.

According to Newsweek, Greene was sworn in to Congress on Jan. 3 with nearly 75 percent of the vote in the November election. She ran in a deeply conservative congressional district in Georgia. Nevertheless, a poll by FiveThirtyEight on Friday shows that Greene is less popular nationally.

Greene likes social media posts asking for the assassination of notable democratic figures, including the former president Barack Obama, former Minister of Foreign Affairs Hillary Clinton, and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

She also allegedly used social media to promote allegations that the deadly mass shootings were staged in Parkland, Florida, Newton, Connecticut and Las Vegas.

The Democratic-controlled House on Thursday demanded the removal of Greene from her committee because of her history of race and violence. According to Democracy Now, she declined to apologize for her comments.

“I’m fine with being kicked off my committees because it’s going to waste my time. I’m liberated … do you know what’s going on in these committees? You see, we actually have a tyrannically controlled government, ‘Greene told a news conference on Friday.

According to Democracy Now, 219 Democrats and 11 Republicans voted in favor of her removal compared to 199 Republicans who voted against it.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo scolded the Republican Party during ‘Cuomo Prime Time’ and used a new nickname for GOP members who supported the conspiracy theories of Greene and QAnon.

‘That man did not take us down alone and now we see that in the newly enacted GOPQ more support is being given to a lying cook who wishes the Democratic leaders death as a member of their own leadership who had the courage to tell the truth about To tell Trump, ”Cuomo said.

Cuomo said that although Trump is “in the rearview mirror”, the problems he left behind are clear.
