I did not play Mario Kart Tour still, but Nintendo finally added a feature that absolutely convinced me to play. You can now race in a hot dog cart. You can see the hot dog cart – on which Lederhosen Luigi dutifully rides – in the picture above. Of course, Luigi also holds a roasted weenie while riding on his new cart. Is not this the sausage thing you saw all day? Two hands on the steering wheel, button!
The ‘Fast Frank’ card (as well as Luigi’s new fit) is part of Mario Kart Tour‘s new location: Berlin. See, now it all makes sense. The Berlin tour in Mario Kart Tour is now available until January 26th.

In addition to the German-inspired items, players can also race in the “Butterfly Wings” glider and in week two as Penguin Luigi, Builder Luigi or regular classic Luigi. There are also new vehicle items: Sushi Racer kart and the Blooper Wingtip glider. But these other costumes and cards mean nothing to me – I’m always ready for all the sausage rolls.
Mario Kart Tour was released in September 2019 for Android and iOS devices. Real-time multiplayer was officially added in the mobile kart racing game in March 2020. An update next July has added landscape mode – now players are not forced to play in portrait mode.
Can you think of anything better than winning a race like Penguin Luigi riding a hot dog? I can not.
