Today’s Dealmaster is under the title by a number of sales on Mario games for the Nintendo Switch. The offerings come as part of Nintendo’s annual “Mario Day” event, which uses the video game company to celebrate its beloved plumber, kart driver, golfer, boxing referee, tick instructor, prescription drug supplier and everyday mascot. The actual ‘holiday’ comes on Wednesday – March 10 = Mar10 = Mario, you see, but there are sales on various Switch games available in the Mario universe during the week.
The event features some recommended games up to $ 39, including the essential link Super Mario Odyssey, the digital board game Super Mario Party, the adorable adventure game Luigi’s Mansion 3, the course-creating toolkit that is Super Mario Maker 2, the multi-player focused tennis meet-fight game Mario Tennis Aces, and the more traditional 2D platform New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe.
Other switch games like Yoshi’s Crafted World, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Super Mario 3D All-Stars, en Paper Mario: The Origami King it’s also discounted at some retailers, though not all are part of Nintendo’s official sales. Regardless, most of these deals take about $ 10-15 off the regular street prices we’ve seen online.
The listings do not include popular titles like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or the most recent Mario release, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Wrath, and it does not represent the lowest prices we have ever seen for every game. Since some of the discount games are 3-4 years old, we wish the regular prices were closer to these selling prices more often. But the discounts on first-party Nintendo games have been quite infrequent since the launch of the Switch, so if you’re interested in one of the titles on sale, these deals still offer better value than we did most of the year see. We will also note that Nintendo has discounted some of these games on its own digital eShop, but that those who apply a digital code from an external retailer may use more gold dots for future purchases at the eShop.
If you are already lagging behind with Switch games, we also sell deals on recommended USB-C chargers, board games and indoor security cameras, the Apple Watch Series 6, and more. You can see the full outline below.
