March 4 Fear of Capitol Attack grows as conspiracy theorists talk about Trump’s return

Fear of another attack on the Capitol increased in the days and hours before March 4, the next important date in the QAnon calendar. Despite countless failed Q predictions, supporters of former President Donald Trump and the growing conspiracy theory believe that Thursday will be the day the former president will be inaugurated again.

The U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) announced Wednesday that they had uncovered threats by militia groups to breach the Capitol building on March 4. The ‘possible plot’ seems to be in connection with the QAnon theory that Trump was on the date when presidents were inaugurated before 1933.

“The Capitol Police Department is aware of and prepared for possible threats to members of Congress or to the Capitol complex,” authorities said in a statement. “We have received intelligence showing a possible conspiracy to violate the Capitol by an identified militia on Thursday, March 4.”

Two unidentified law enforcement officials told the Associated Press that the online threats included talks by people involved with the Three Percenters, a military group against the institution that took part in the January 6 storms of the Capitol. The sources spoke on condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to discuss the matter in public.

Acting Arms Sergeant Timothy Blodgett told lawmakers earlier this week that “there is no indication that groups will travel to Washington DC to protest or commit acts of violence.”

Today, he informed them of the “new information regarding intelligence and intelligence indicating additional interest in the Capitol for the dates of March 4-6 by a militia group.” Lawmakers quickly finished work about half an hour before midnight on Wednesday after the warning.

The USCP has confirmed that it is increasing security measures in the area, fearing that the violence seen on January 6 will be repeated.

“Based on the information we have, the department has taken a number of days immediately to improve our security position and staff, including March 4,” Capitol police said. “The department communicated our improved attitude as well as the available intelligence for the entire workforce.”

Talk of an incident increased among QAnon supporters in the days leading up to March 4th.

“Can’t wait until the first true president in years of the inauguration is March 4,” one believer wrote on a major QAnon channel in the messaging program Telegram.

“God has been planning this for many years. I must love this president. Now not much longer. March 4 will be our victory dance,” wrote another.

“The real POTUS can not get back into the office fast enough. Finally March 4 … PLEASE GOD!”

The administrators of another popular QAnon forum on Thursday urged believers to “stay home, stay alert and stay safe.”

There’s no real indication that QAnon fans are planning for tomorrow. However, some believers online are sure that Trump would arrive on the scene to finally carry out the long-awaited ‘storm’ – that is, to order mass arrests and executions of satanic pedophiles who are part of the ‘deep state’.

Supporters of QAnon initially believed that the ‘storm’ would take place on January 20th. But when the forecast did not materialize, some moved the date to March 4th. They doubled in faith when it was reported that the Trump International Hotel in DC raised the price for rooms on that date to $ 1,331.

Thereafter, the U.S. Marshal posted a tweet about the inauguration of Abraham Lincoln on March 4, 1861, which further fueled the conspiracy theory.
