With 57% sales of the municipalities, New Ideas has five more brands than its GANA ally, which governs 27 municipalities.
Preliminary data from the TSE reveal that the New Ideas party is profiling like the governor in at least 149 of the 262 municipalities of El Salvador, the election day of the February 28th election.
According to the lawsuits filed by 3 pm on March 2, the cyan party has obtained the necessary votes to govern in 57% of the countries’ elections. The arena SEEN, which is profiled as a governor in 35 municipalities; el FMLN of 31; GANA en 27 y el PCN en 16. Los partidos PDC y VAMOS ganaron 3 y 1 municipio respectively.
Among the municipalities won by the PDC is Metapán, a few days before the election, a plane was launched engraved with propaganda for GANA’s candidate Ricardo Polanco.

In the department of San Salvador, New Ideas live the sale in 18 of 19 municipalities. If Ayutuxtepeque is the only one that has been retained by ARENA, then it has been announced that it will receive 7499 votes, surpassing 5421 New Ideas with 91.11% of processed acts. In its own department, the FMLN mejicanos magazine, donated New Ideas thanks to its coalition with the CD.
In the department of La Libertad, Nuevas Ideas appears to have 16 of 22 municipalities. The rest are: GANA (3), ARENA (2) and the PCN (1). The municipalities where ARENA lleva la ventaja son Antiguo Cuscatlán y Jicalapa; mientras que los municipios donde GANA lleva la ventaja son Sacacoyo, Huizúcar y Tepecoyo.
