For the past few years, she has starred in the tear-jerking TV show This Is Us and joked in the caption of her new baby picture: “#thisisgus.”
Mandy shares her baby with Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith, whom she married in 2018 at a wedding in her backyard.
She announced the news of her pregnancy in September with an Instagram photo of herself and her husband stroking her hump.
“Baby Boy Goldsmith is coming in early 2021,” the This Is Us actress revealed to her more than four million Instagram fans.

Mandy gave birth last Saturday and has since revealed on Instagram how she and her husband decided to name the baby Augustus.
‘It was in August last year when @taylordawesgoldsmith and I found out we had a boy (it’s also Taylor’s birth month) and we always loved the name … so it’s settled very early in our book, said Mandy.
The caption was accompanied by a photo of a small gray baby blanket with the words ‘AUGUST’ sewn on it.

Then T donated me the blanket for this anniversary in November with the ‘A’ (for Amanda) made from extra material from my wedding dress and ‘T’ (for Taylor) from his wedding shirt. Feels like a very fitting fusion of our whole story. I can not wait to pass it on to our lovely August one day, ‘says Mandy.
Late last month, she spoke candidly about the anxiety she felt about finding out she was pregnant while having endometriosis.
“Because of this issue with my uterus, I was very reluctant to believe it and put any stock in it,” she told Romper. “I held my breath for up to 12 weeks.”
