Democrats created the disturbing video documenting the January 6 siege by weaving Trump’s speech to a group of supporters who called for marching with violent footage of the attack on the Capitol.

“We are going to walk through Pennsylvania Avenue … and we are going to the Capitol and we are going to try to give our Republicans, the weak … we are going to try to give them the pride and boldness they have to take back our land,” he said. Trump in the video.

Raskin opened the indictment by arguing that a failure to convict would create a “January exception” that exempts all future presidents from illegal conduct.

Raskin has blown up Trump’s lawyers, who plan to argue that it is illegal to prosecute a former president.

“Their argument is that if you commit an offense in your last few weeks of office, you have constitutional impunity, you get away with it,” Raskin said. ‘It will create a brand new January exception to the Constitution of the United States of America … it is an invitation to the President to give his best chance for everything he wants to do on the way out the door, including the use of violent means … to block the peaceful transfer of power … it is an invitation to the worst nightmare of our founder. ‘
