According to jail records, Love-Robinson was released on bail from Palm Beach on Thursday night.

Love-Robinson got into trouble for the first time in October 2015 with the Florida Department of Health, which filed a stop-and-desist notice accusing him of practicing medicine without a license, a department spokesman told CNN.

Love-Robinson gained notoriety in 2016 after his arrest in Palm Beach County on suspicion of practicing without a license, posing as a medical doctor and treating patients.

The Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit in Palm Beach County, along with the Florida Department of Health, conducted an operation in which a secret officer visited Love-Robinson’s office. Love-Robinson physically examined the officer and, according to the sheriff’s office, gave medical advice, which resulted in his arrest.

He was 18 years old at the time of his arrest, but in his profile on a medical examination website, he is 25 years old. The website said the information was eventually provided by Love-Robinson, his office or on his behalf.

Love-Robinson at the time denied the allegations, stating that he never portrayed himself as a managing director, but rather as a doctorate.

In 2017, Love-Robinson was sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to one of the Virginia charges, with four of the years suspended.
Following his release in Virginia, Love-Robinson pleaded guilty in 2018 to an agreement regarding earlier charges from Florida and, according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel, was sentenced to more than three years in prison with credit for 16 months already served. He was released in September 2019 after 20 months in a Florida jail, according to the Miami Herald.
