Male prestigious SWAT team responds to domestic incident in Holiday Hill

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. A man has been sought after a SWAT team responded to a domestic incident in the Holiday Hill area, the Jacksonville sheriff said Sunday morning.

Police said they responded to the incident in Century Point Drive around 11:30 p.m. Saturday and that they could not contact the man. Therefore, they asked the SWAT team to respond.

When officers entered the scene of the incident, they were unable to locate the man identified as 34-year-old Calvin A. Galloway, according to JSO.

The sheriff said a warrant had been obtained for Galloway, who is wanted on a charge of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted criminal.

Century Point Drive was cordoned off when the SWAT team responded to the incident. Police asked people to stay out of the area. Residents who were at home when the situation began were given the option to evacuate or take shelter.

About 7:50 a.m. Sunday, no one was taken to a hospital, police said.

By 8:30, SWAT had left the scene.
