Maine CDC reports additional COVID-19 deaths, 350 new cases

AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) – Another chief has died as a result of COVID-19.

The additional death reported Sunday is a man in his 60s from Hancock County.

Total deaths in Maine rise to 359.

The Maine CDC reports 350 new cases on Sunday.

Cases stand at 25,592 overall. 21,693 are confirmed.

As of Sunday morning, 190 people are currently hospitalized, 47 people in critical care and 20 people in a ventilator.

According to the Maine CDC, recovery numbers are out of date, so we are no longer able to accurately report active cases. Instead, we offer you new case numbers for each country.

York County saw nearly 100 new cases overnight. They reported 98 new cases on Sunday.

Cumberland County reports 57 new cases, while Penobscot County reports 50.
