Maine CDC reports 550 new COVID-19 cases, 4 deaths

AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) – Maine has added more than 1,100 cases of coronavirus in the past two days. The Maine CDC reported an additional 550 cases on Wednesday, bringing the average daily number of cases to nearly 391 in the past week.

Four more Mainers are dead. Two were from Kennebec County, the other two from Cumberland County. This brings the total number of deaths associated with coronavirus in our state to 757.

The total business is now 55,000 at 55,374. Of these, 41,799 are confirmed.

Kennebec County reports 87 new cases. Penobscot County has 34.

Somerset County with 15, Franklin County 14.

Arooksook County also reported a double-digit increase of 11.
