Maduro and Guaidó teams reunite, Dice OPS

(CNN Español) – The representative of the Panamericana de la Salud (OPS) for Venezuela, Paolo Balladelli, informs these players on Twitter that the teams of the President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and the leader opposition leader Juan Guaidó are meeting to agree on the availability of vacancies against the covid-19 through the Covax mechanism.

Baladelli stated that the installation of the Mesa Nacional for the Access to the COVAX Strategy was “with the voluntary action of Venezuela’s political, technical and academic actors”. In addition, the OPS and Unicef ​​Venezuela support these efforts.

Guaidó insured in his social speeches that he was “genuinely interested in attending the pandemic in the midst of a humanitarian crisis.” In this sense, it ratified its disposition to channel “resources to achieve this reality”.

On February 3, Guaidó compromised to manage the licensed licenses available to the funds that Venezuela held outside.

United States of America has blocked active and recourse to Venezuela through impressive sanctions on Venezuela’s Petroleum State, which proves to be a good part of the states’ handling of the State, restricting access to debt and the state shareholder market.

Washington has justified this decision because it accuses the vicious regime of violating human rights and corrupting democracy.

There is a need for a ‘consensual evacuation program’ in Venezuela, says epidemiologist

For his part, the epidemiologist Julio Castro, assessor in the election of the National Assembly in 2015, stated that there is a need for “a consensual evacuation program” that only includes political actors, OPS and Unicef, as well as other companies and academia.

Miguel Pizarro, commissioned by the United Nations, appointed by Juan Guaidó, states that the intention is to guarantee access to the vaccine against covid-19 “both humanitarian principles”.

During the March session of the Delegation Commission, the body with which Guaidó intends to enter into legal proceedings for the continuation of its management during the parliamentary elections held on December 6, that Venezuela has access to 12 million vacancies, referring to the management of the United States and the countries of the European Union that he sanctioned the governor of Maduro.

CNN is communicating with the Ministry of Communications in search of a commentary on this topic, but has not received a reply.

Maduro argues that he could not cancel the debt due with the OPS or claim the vacancies owed to the sanctions.

Last March, Maduro announced the release of 100,000 doses of the Russian Sputnik V drug. Currently Venezuela has only participated in the ensuing evacuation of Russia.
