Madison LeCroy wishes the best for Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez when they split up.
The ‘Southern Charm’ star told Page Six on Thursday when A-Rod and J.Lo announced their split: ‘I wish them all the best.’
It was perhaps the perfect send-off to the famous ex-player from LeCroy, after she was embroiled in rumors that she had an affair with Rodriguez.
LeCroy previously remained a mom when we reported last month that Rodriguez and Lopez were divorced. “You kind of caught me off guard,” the 30-year-old reality star said when we told her A-Rod and J.Lo were apart. But now that their farewell is official, she is sending her best wishes.
LeCroy was caught in a recent scandal when rumors surfaced about her reunion episode of her Bravo series that she had FaceTiming with an unnamed famous baseball player – who was apparently A-Rod.
LeCroy told Andy Cohen at the then mystery man’s show: ‘He contacted me, and yes, we were damning, but otherwise there was nothing … I’ve never seen him [or] touched him. ”
She then told Page Six of the alleged affair: “He never cheated on his fiancée with me.” She told us that she and A-Rod (45) only ‘talked on the phone’ but ‘were never physical … never had anything. Just an acquaintance. ”
Meanwhile, sources close to the former slugger dismissed the rumors and told the Post: “He does not know this woman.”
A month after Page Six reported that Lopez (51) and Rodriguez’s star-studded relationship was on the rocks, they said in a statement to “Today” on Thursday: “We have realized we are better than friends and look forward to “To continue like this … We will continue to work together and support each other in our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and each other’s children.”
Lopez, per TMZ, has yet to return her $ 1.8 million engagement ring from Rodriguez; the exhaust valve says the couple did not discuss it. But their source adds that the couple exchanged ‘large quantities of jewelery’ while they were together. This is probably not something A-Rod is prepared to go to war for.
A source told Page Six in March: ‘The Madison LeCroy scandal was the reason they finally broke up. There have been problems, but Jennifer was very embarrassed about it. ”
However, J-Rod, as they were formerly known, denied that they were apart and said they were working things out, before finally confirming the divergent confirmation on ‘Today’.
LeCroy moved on last month by hitting the Bahamas and frolicking in the waves in a bikini with pals.
LeCroy, meanwhile, told us of recent rumors that she’s been spotted with co-star “Southern Charm” Whitney Sudler-Smith: “I don’t know why it’s a story at first, but Whitney and I are old friends. “
