Following the AFC Divisional playoff game between the Cleveland Browns and the Kansas City Chiefs, star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and former Alabama spokesman Mack Wilson exchanged words on Twitter after Wilson tackled Mahomes, leading to the MVP of 2019 has been placed in the NFL’s concussion protocol.
Wison apologized to Mahomes on social media and also defended his name after many fans claimed he was a dirty player. Mahomes replied and apparently dismissed the whole matter and accepted the apology.
Mahomes’ mother, Randi, also took to Twitter to call Wilson. The mention of “evil never wins”, and Wilson’s jersey number included.
The tweet was apparently a direct call from Wilson’s hit on Mahomes.
Wilson, who used every opportunity to let it be known that the hit was not intentional and that he is not a ‘dirty player’, responded directly.
