Machu Picchu reopens its gates for tourist visits starting March 1st

(CNN Español) – The Ministry of Culture of Peru informs that the Directorate of Culture of Cusco decided to resume visits to tourists in Machu Picchu from this month.

Only 40% of the sanatorium’s capacity is allowed, that is to say, a maximum of 897 people.

Authorities indicate that all visitors should wear mascara, keep physical distance between individuals and groups, and the same security measures that determine the staff of the city.

The Ministry also informs that these moons reabren other archeological parks in all Cusco.
