Machine gun KellyThe drummer was attacked by a car, robbed and hit … according to law enforcement, but he says he will bounce back.
We are told JP Cappelletty – better known as SmokeThe MGK drummer was walking down a street in the Hollywood Hills at about 8pm on Tuesday night when two guys jumped out of a vehicle to rob him.
Our law enforcement sources say there was a physical altercation and Smoke stole property worth thousands of dollars. We are told at one point that he was also hit by a car that injured his foot and arm.
On Wednesday, Rook posted a photo from his hospital bed showing his right arm and hand in a cast, and another with MGK visits him. Smoke says, “Don’t worry I’ll jump back.”
According to our sources, the suspects got away, and although it is unclear if they were armed … they definitely used force to rob the drummer.
Rook has been closely with MGK since he achieved the drumming in 2012 (when he was a high school principal) and toured with him.
