The series finale of the recharge with Lucas Till in the lead role will be broadcast on April 30th.

MacGyver‘s days on the case for CBS end.

The network announced late Wednesday that the recharge with Lucas Till in the lead role will take place after the current fifth season ended. The final series will air on April 30 on CBS.

“All of us at CBS are extremely grateful for the incredible work and dedication of Lucas and the rest of the cast, as well as [showrunner] Monica [Macer], the writers and the entire crew, ”said Kelly Kahl, president of CBS Entertainment. “The MacGyver team traveled far and wide to save the world repeatedly with little more than bubble gum and a paper clip and made this show clearly their own. We are delighted that we can offer these dedicated and loyal fans the opportunity to greet their favorite characters in the thoughtful way that this series deserves. ‘

MacGyver becomes the latest CBS series starting this season. ViacomCBS’s broadcast also ends Chuck Lorre’s comedy Ma as well as NCIS spinoff NCIS: New Orleans. The network’s new pickups for the 2021-22 season include CSI: Vegas, FBI spinoff FBI: International and comedy with single camera Spoke, with a new Hawaii set NCIS also expect to get green light.
