Lovecraftian ‘The Sinking City’ returns to digital store windows

Back in August, due to a messy legal battle (which is still ongoing), Frogwares’ Lovecraftian The sinking city was retrieved from digital store windows across Xbox, PlayStation and PC. Now, today Nacon (formerly known as Big Ben Interactive) announced that the game has returned to the Microsoft Store and Steam.

The PlayStation Store version will be available soon. As of the time of the press release, the Steam release is already available. No word on whether the game will return to the Epic Game Store, where the game was originally exclusively for service.

The return to digital stores comes after a judge presiding over the case between Nacon and Frogwares issued a temporary injunction, saying Frogwares had illegally breached their contract with Nacon and must continue to comply with it. In turn, Nacon is able to have The sinking city digital sales again.

The sinking city is also available on the Nintendo Switch, where it was self-released by Frogwares.
