Lost Tomb Raider Remake apparently discovered, partly playable

A seemingly lost remake of the original Tomb Raider game has been discovered and made partially playable – and it could also be planned as a possible Indiana Jones or National Treasure game. As reported by PC Gamer, Tomb Raider: 10th Anniversary Edition is now offered on the internet archive preserved and playable with a little tampering. The files contain several levels, including Croft Manor, but there are no enemies.

The build was originally posted by Tomb of Ash, who reported in a video that the files were sent to them by a former Core Design developer. Per Tomb of Ash, Tomb Raider: 10th Anniversary was developed for PSP by Core Design, the original creator of Tomb Raider, before it was canceled in 2006.Interestingly, these files are apparently a version of the game created after the cancellation, when Core Design possibly tried to recreate its work and create a game on Indiana Jones or National Treasure. Mud XProger apparently discovered a ma menu screen that contains a National Treaure logo but an Indiana Jones model. A tweet from Emircan mentions that the Indiana Jones model on the screen in the game’s files is called ‘Cage’ (referring to Nicholas Cage, star of the National Treasure series). You can watch several videos of the built-in action on Roli’s Tomb Raider Channel on YouTube.

As for the fact that Tomb Raider is actually coming, publisher Eidos Crystal Dynamics has asked to create its own remake of the first Tomb Raider, which led to Tomb Raider: Anniversary, which airs on PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, PSP, Nintendo Wii and mobile launched. devices in June 2007.

Here’s our review of Tomb Raider: Anniversary, from 2007. In the other Tomb Raider news, Crystal Dynamics’s Shadow of the Tomb Raider is currently one of the PlayStation Plus games for January 2021.
