Genshin Impact‘s Lost Riches event begins on its third day. There are two new places and even a cooperative challenge you can discover. Here is our guide to help you.

Genshin Impact: Lost Riches Meeting – Day 3 Locations and Collaboration Challenge
Place 5: Cuijue slope
The first new location on day 3 is Cuijue slope. Although the marked area looks massive, most iron coin excavation sites are closer downhill where all the pillars are instead of the higher ridges.
After finding all the iron coins in Cuijue Slope, you can go to the next place.
Place 6: Starfell Valley / Windrise
This is the same place you used to chat with Mona while doing the Unreconciled Stars / Meteorite event.
There are iron coins near the ruins and those further away from the surrounding grasslands.
Co-op Challenges Findings
I have to admit that day 2 of Genshin Impact‘s Lost Riches event caused confusion. There was a cooperative challenge in Guili Plains that did not appear to me, and I was not sure how to unlock it. I did not know if it was a mistake or if it was random. Therefore, I decided to test a bit for the iteration of day 3.
In Starfell Valley / Windrise, I started marking the sites closer to or within the ruins and communicating on them. Then I looked for those who were further away. I made sure I noticed it Genshin Impact‘s card, although I have not yet interacted with everyone.
When I found 40 out of 60 iron coins, I returned to the other marked areas further away from the ruins, but the rays of light were nowhere to be seen. The Treasure Seeking Seelie did not even make any more beeping noises.
Then I drove back to the ruins and saw that there was a ray of light. It was strange because I had already checked the area and I never indicated that particular place. When I dug there, it seems I also received the last 20 iron coins. It also led to the unlocking of the cooperative challenge.
The cooperative challenge today is similar to that of Guili Plains. You have to shoot half a dozen exploding barrels in a short time.
I was able to complete this solo and I got 5x Hero’s White. However, if you are having problems, you can ask a friend to help you.
Yet the trigger of the cooperative challenge seems a bit confusing:
- It is possible that it is simply random. You can miss the challenge from day 2, but you can unlock the challenge from day 3. It can also differ between the player accounts. It has been asking more questions ever since Genshin ImpactThe Lost Riches event page did not make the unlocking requirements clear enough, just that ‘Travelers may encounter difficult challenges. ”
- If you supposed to unlock a challenge and you’re close to 60 iron coins, it looks like the graves / beams that are further away disappear. You’s bumped to get closer to the challenge area (ie ruins) so that it unlocks as soon as you obtain 60 iron coins.
- As of now, I do not know of anyone who unlocked the Day 2 and Day 3 challenge. As usual, let me know if you have any other findings.
Anyway, below, you can see a video from YouTuber Jonooit. Do you notice how the player could not unlock the challenge of day 3? The last beam / excavation site with which the player communicated was also further away from the ruins themselves. It gets really confusing because no one knows when you want a cooperative challenge. My only guess is that by the end of Genshin Impact‘s Lost Riches event, we will all face the same amount of collaborative challenges.
