THOUSAND OAKS, California – The Los Angeles rams are finalizing a deal to send veteran defender Michael Brockers to the Detroit Lions, a source confirmed to ESPN.

NFL Network first reported the move.

This is the second trade the Rams and Lions have undertaken in this off-season, after the Lions appointed former Rams director of college applicants Brad Holmes as general manager in January.

Shortly after hiring Holmes in Detroit, the Rams sent quarterback Jared Goff, along with a choice of third-round pick in 2021 and first-round pick of 2022 and 2023, to the Lions in exchange for quarterback Matthew Stafford.

This trade becomes official on Wednesday at the start of the new league year.

A pick in the first round in 2012, Brockers spent his nine-year NFL career with the Rams. He signed a $ 24 million three-year deal with the Rams last season after a free agent deal with the Baltimore Ravens failed.
