Los Angeles opens COVID-19 vaccine appointments for residents 16 years and older

LOS ANGELES (KABC) – Los Angeles has opened COVID-19 vaccine appointments to all residents aged 16 and over.

On Saturday, the city’s vaccine registration website COVID-19 showed an option for people 16 years and older to make an appointment at vaccination sites run by the city.

The change to the city’s website comes days before California will officially expand the age-group vaccination grant.

People 50 years and older may currently be eligible for a vaccination. California residents 16 years and older will be officially eligible on April 15, but other local municipalities have chosen to open it earlier, including Long Beach.
